Failed Heating Unit

In the midst of a very cold winter, the central heating unit in Manlie's apartment complex failed. Several tenants notified the landlord, who happened to be out of town. Unless action were take immediately, all the pipes in the building would burst. The cost of the repairs was less than $50, but no one wanted to spend the money.

What were the tenants'duties in this situation? Explain.

  1. They can pay for it. They can sue the tenant. They can move. They can have it fixed then have the landlord billed for it. They could fix it themselves.

  6. Manlie's apartment complex should pay for it. They could of move somewhere else. They can get someone to fix it and bill it to the landord.
