Car for Sale

Hoglund reneged on his promise to sell his car to Elsen. Elsen went to nearby Los Angeles and found the same model with lower mileage, in better condition, and priced $600 below Hoglund's. Nevertheless, Elsen was incensed by Hoglund's conduct and wanted to sue him

To what damages, if  any, is Elsen entitled?

    He isn't entitled any damages. Just because they made an oral promise doesn't mean he's entitled. They should've written a contract as well. Hoglund chose not to sell the car and chose his own price too.

    none what so ever. just because she was insulted by his conduct doesn't entitle her to sue anyone. she would loose the case. she would be broke from hiring a lawyer. She then wouldn't be able to buy either car.

    None. First of all it was an oral contract. There was also no money involved yet so he is not legally binded. Also the price was lower. so no there are no violations

    Elsen is not entitled to any damages. Hoglund and Elsen just made an oral promise so nothing every extreme.Also Hoglund violated the contract between them.They maybe should of written a contract if they felt it was needed.

    Elsen is not entitled anything. There wasnt a contract agreement and a oral agreement does not count. Just becuse Hoglund thought she was insulted doesnt mean that she would and could have the right to sue.

    No, because there was not a contract agreement it was an oral agreement. She really does not have the need to sue. If she does not like it she can go somewhere else and find a better car. If she were to sue she would more than likely lose the case.

    None. It was an oral contract that cant be proven. And they contract was violable. And he dont have the right to sue.
