640 acre lot

Central-Cal Lands Corp. orally agreed to sell 640-acre ranch to Ceres Inc. for $3,280,000. Ceres paid $125,000 and immediately took possession.

Can Central-Cal legally withdraw from the agreement? Explain.

    No, Central-Cal can not legally withdraw from the agreement. He cannot withdraw from the agreement because Ceres had already made a down payment.

    No they can not withdraw from the agreement. He put down a down payment and he will continue to pay.
