Liability Insurance

Olsen negligently backed into Sbatino's car. Olsen was very apologetic and, after a few minutes of negotiation, paid Sabatino for the damage. Olsen then asked his automobile insurance company to reimburse him under his liability coverage for the amount he had paid Sabatino.

Must the insurance company do so? Explain.

  2. No they don't. They chose to pay the money. They should've just contacted their insurance companies right away.

  5. The insurance agency didn't check out the accident. So they don't have to pay him for the damage that he paid for. Can the agency prove that Olsen paid him.

  7. No they don't have to. The insurance company didn't look at the accident. So for them they don't have any proof of evidence.

  9. The insurance company was not informed about the accident and they did not have proof of it. Therefore they do not have to provide for them
